The name I chose for my goddess is Aphrodite. She is a Greek goddess of love, beauty, and desire. Joyful is a good word to use to describe Aphrodite because she made people happy and made them laugh. The second trait is that she is beautiful. She was very attractive and made everyone look beautiful. A bad thing about Aphrodite is that she doesn't stay true to her friends. Prometheus was made to be tied to a rock. Since his brother was no longer around to keep him company, Epimetheus was now alone. Zeus felt bad about taking Epimetheus's company away, so he asked Hephaestus to make a beautiful woman out of clay. He called her "Pandora." Because he knew Epimetheus was a good man, Zeus gave Epimetheus Pandora's hand in marriage so she could be his friend and keep him company. Zeus gave Pandora a box with a note that said "DO NOT OPEN!" and a key to open the box after they got married. Pandora was too curious, so she opened the box and let all the bad things out into the world. Pandora tried to close the box right away, but it was already too late. She started crying when she opened the box to show Epithemeus what had happened. He came over to hug her as a tiny bug named "Hope" flew out with a big smile, thanking her for setting him free.
